Amazing Math, Almost there!

     Well, we finally got back to filming of Amazing Math, and almost got dun the feature, within a few shots actually. We will still have some special features to work on after that, but they will mostly be VO and come much quicker. I was really happy with the stuff we got to day, some of it was really , really good. We are truly blessed to have such amazing actors working with us on this!

With limited space, sometimes you have to turn the camera sideways to get a full shot.

It will be interesting to see how this set of green screen images look after import. Also, I will not be posting for the next few days. out next filming session is on Wednesday, so expect a post by or on thursday.

Amazing Math Green Screening

Just thought I would post a image comparing Our first days filming and The most resent one...

 

As you can see the second TT (taken first) has a green screen behind him that is kinda dark, so I upped up the exposure 2 stops, and now it is to bright, it actually blew out in some places, and is bit yellower than I would like, so next time I will try 1 stop up!

My New Dolly

For the first Home Academy of Moving Pictures (a video school for homeschooled kids in Airdrie and area that I run and teach) Pre-Production class I had the kids make a dolly! It worked out very well, wasn't hard to make, and is really nice. I used the instructions from an e-book I got for Christmas! I am really happy with how it turned out! The e-book is called Killer Camera Rigs That You Can Build: http://www.dvcamerarigs.com/ It even looks like it could hold a camera operator if I made a bigger one!
