One part of the Amazing math script calls for satellites, and the sun to reflect off of some of the panels and not others. The kids (aka stars of the show) can then count the lit panels with the subatizing technique.
I have the solar panels reflecting nicely now; however, I am going to have to be creative to find a way to get only the panels I want lit (if you have any ideas please let me know!).

Dallas,
Can you tilt each panel individually? Can you put the sun reflecting in each as a dot to count? If not, we could count the ones lit.
Also, can you put ten on each arm - five above and five below?
You could change the material of some to one with a lower speculative.
